Green Goddess Smoothie

I am very much a granola-and-yoghurt sort of breakfast person. So having ‘greens’ for breakfast was super scary. However, since L and I had an amazing spinach juice at the breakfast club (UK readers, this is a MUST visit!), I decided to try to make a green smoothie at home. This recipe, adapted from Blogilates Metabolic Supercharge Smoothie is so thick and sweet that you immediately know it is going to be a good week!

INGREDIENTS

– 1 banana

– 1 cup of chopped kale

– 1/2 cup nonfat Greek yogurt

– 1/2 cup almond milk

– juice of 1 small lemon

– 1 tsp sweet syrup (honey, maple syrup, brown rice syrup… whatever you have!)

METHOD
1. Blend! And feel fabulous 🙂
